Welcome to the 'All New' Manipulated By Magik site! Yes, this is the new platform so things are going to look a wee bit different... esp. while I continue to find my way. So, I apologise in advance for the 'mess'....and inconvenience. I feel your pain.... believe me.
Anyway, I'm trying to work on the site as time allows as well as my when my patience can deal. With this new platform everything is different & things I knew that worked on the old Spruz platform (aka the 'HIM-Addicts' one) don't necessarily work here- which has caused me to make some big screw ups & crying to the platform developers to come help & bail me out, hence the name of this blog post. LOL
Anyway, I'm currently waiting to see if I can get some feedback or help in making drop-down sub-tabs so I can get the rest of my pages here (you know, the Freebies pages, links page & stuff like that), since I don't want the navigation bar to have all these separate links making 4 rows below the header. So for now, my progress with adding pages is at a standstill. BUT! I at least got the important 'About', 'Terms Of Membership', and Privacy Policy' pages up. *pats self on back*
A few other stuffs & thangs I was able to get accomplished was getting our groups added here. Yay me! So far, the only groups I have 'completed' is the Snagger's Lounge & The Rock Those Ads groups. I'll be working on the others here & there today & this evening.
I have cleared out some members that were imported over here. Some were 'HIM' fans that I know are not taggers & will never sign into this all-new site. A few others I've removed were members who haven\t been active on the old site in at least 6 months... some even longer than that. This doesn't mean they can't rejoin here, but right now the fewer I have to 'worry' about while I continue the daunting task of getting this site humming, the better.
To answer questions as to my kits & shop- That is on hold until I can get this site going. I know this site will be an on-going project for at least a year, but I want to at least have all my basic taken care of first. Once that is accomplished, I will look into a spot for a shop & have it linked within this site. And then I can get back to 'business as usual'. I'm hoping.... and praying by Summer/ mid-Summer... as long as the planets all align right for me. LOL
Well, this is the best I can give you right now. I thought I should at least post something to christen this blog (even though my old blog posts are thankfully migrated here).
